As a surgeon, I've spent years in the thick of hospital life — long hours, high stakes, and moments that demand everything we have to give. Anyone in healthcare knows this life well. It’s more than a job — it’s a commitment to helping people, a calling that’s both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging.

But amid the codes, consults, and care plans, it’s also important to pause and recognize the humanity behind the scrubs. To laugh, to breathe, to celebrate the everyday heroes that make this work possible — nurses, techs, assistants, residents, and everyone who shows up with purpose and heart.

That’s why I started Health Gear Shop: to bring a little lightness into the lives of those who give so much. Whether it’s a funny shirt that gets a smile on rounds or a mug that reminds you someone sees your effort — these small things matter.
